Pass it On: 2018 Senior Class Gift Campaign
“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.” -Nelson Henderson
The Senior Class Gift Campaign is led by the Student Philanthropy Council and is your chance to leave your legacy at Lawrence Tech. Every year, thousands of donors contribute to the university to support academic departments, scholarships, technology and facilities upgrades, and more. These gifts touch every part of campus and have shaped your Blue Devil experience!
As a way to “pass it on”, you can join other members of your graduating class in contributing to the Student Emergency Fund (SEF). This newly established fund was created to provide assistance to students who experience a sudden and unexpected financial hardship that might threaten to end their time at LTU. Click here for more information on the SEF.
Who should give?
All undergraduate and graduate students in their final year are encouraged to participate. Students graduating at the end of a fall semester are considered part of the class graduating the following May (2019).
How much should I give?
You can give any amount that is personally significant to you! What matters most is that you participate. Our goal is to have at least 100 graduating students give back before they leave LTU! All donors will be recognized in the commencement program.
- If you give $10 or more, you’ll receive a special royal and light blue philanthropy cord to wear at commencement.
- With a gift of $20.18 or more, you’ll also get a Class of 2018 t-shirt!
- With a gift of $50 or more, you get all of the above plus your first year of Advocate level membership in the True Blue Society (LTU's loyal donor club). Click here for more info and member benefits.
